What a learning experience. So sorry you lost your sweet chix. She was very sweet. Thank you for trying and for helping others thru your videos. I've also looked for information but didn't realize a prolapse was possible. Yes, i think the chix do become pets; we feed them and they feed us. They also help us in other ways. I think your outlook on taking care of animals is honorable. These animals depend on us and we do the best we can. They are more than just chickens or just farm animals.

Just so everyone knows collard greens And broccoli greens Are delicious. Brussel Sprout greens, not so much. They're too pungent. I won't. be including them in my greens mix anymore. In fact, I probably won't even grow them Anymore, They take up too much valuable real estate in the garden. and I don't really like Brussels sprouts all that much And I definitely don't like Brussel Sprout. greens. I'm sticking with collard greens and broccoli greens.

Thank you so much for your video. Earlier today I had a similar experience with one of my young hens that was egg bound and didn’t know what to do. After searching online I came across your video. It helped me so much, I did exactly what you did and after carefully soaking her in a warm bath and using Vaseline I was able to gently work her vent area and the egg finally came out. She was so relieved. I will be letting her rest for a few days away from the other hens. Again thank you so much. 🙏🏼

1:43 am and I'm up trying to get my little Butterscotch to drink, some kind of predator got to her a couple of days ago. I'm going to give this a try, I'm afraid all my efforts are just stressing her out, but this looks so much more gentle. Brilliant, and thanks!

I am in UK I got a flexible cleaning tool with mine. One end gets hair off brushes. The other end has a bent end with little teeth which hook out debris from the clear suction bit it's flexible enough to get right up to top of it. I think it's been quite a problem for most of us.
